Enterpreneurship – A “Full-Contact” Sport!

By Susan Cox • July 20th, 2012

Let’s face it…running your own business is not for sissies!!! It’s a full-contact sport.

Play BIG or go home!

I’ve been self-employed since I was 15 years old and like many of you, I often found myself the last one out the door at night, the first one there in the morning, covering all left-over duties during the day and often went home with less money in my bank account than my employees.

As Larry the Cable Guy says, “Now that’s just wrong!!!” Too often we find ourselves working “in” our businesses instead of “on”  our businesses. We think we have to do EVERYTHING!  We create brochures, do our own accounting, answer countless emails, train our employees, provide customer support, take out the trash, do the banking,  mop the floors and potty-train the pets…..you know what I mean….. Everything EXCEPT what actually moves our team and business forward!!!!

It’s time to stop the madness and do what you do best. Work “on” your business.  Be the quarterback and find the best team members possible to do everything else.  You should absolutely only invest your valuable time and attention in the activities that create new and better products or services.  Your time and talents are limited and extremely valuable.  Do what you do best.  Everything that does not require your attention should be left to someone else.  Think about what your time is worth per hour, (we will discuss that later), now how much did that brochure you made actually cost you????

Gather your winning TEAM! We can free up your time,  save you money and give your business marketing momentum with our “Done-for-You” packages.  Our goal is to make you the “expert” in your marketplace, while you do what you do best!  Entrepreneurship is a full contact sport. Surround yourself with the best team possible. Give us a call, we are always happy to hear about your goals and spring into immediate action.  (530) 949-1585.
